A report examining local authorities’ use of the power of well-being to support sustainable energy activities and how any legal and financial barriers were overcome. The report is accompanied by a series of case studies and guidance for local authority energy officers, based on the experiences of those already using the power.

A feasibility study funded by the Energy Saving Trust and undertaken by Uttlesford District Council in partnership with Impetus Consulting Ltd, Plant Fibre Technology and other project partners to assess the potential for developing a market for Isonat insulation amongst owner-occupiers. A toolkit has been developed which provides guidance on community participation exercises and developing effective partnerships. The toolkit is illustrated throughout with good practice case studies.

Addressing fuel poverty through Community Planning Impetus has produced a range of documents on the issue of hard-to-treat homes for the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Homes.
The first looks at how local authorities are tackling fuel poverty in hard-to-treat homes. The second forms a guidance document on how to tackle hard-to-treat homes. The final one looks at solid wall insulation as one technology that can be used to treat homes in this category.

Addressing fuel poverty through Community Planning In 2002-3, Impetus was contracted by the Greater London Authority (GLA) to assist with the production of the Mayor's Energy Strategy.

Addressing fuel poverty through Community Planning Impetus has produced 'A Review of the EST Residential Pilot Projects 1996 -2000' in collaboration with the Association for the Conservation of Energy.
This report was published in March 2001 under the Energy Services programme.
