Our
Ethical Policy
At
Impetus, we believe that a sound ethical policy should be at
the core of any organisation. This is why, when establishing
the company, we were determined to weave our personal concerns
about the environment and social justice into the way we do
business.
Guiding Principles
Impetus is committed to being a profitable (financially sustainable) organisation
that meets its social responsibilities to both the environment and the community,
so that we will truly be sustainable and will benefit both our employees and
society. We consider these responsibilities to be important at the local, national
and global levels, attempting to put as much back into the community as we receive
from it. As an energy and environmental consultancy, sustainability is a primary
objective of the company's practices.
This is very much a learning process for us and we do not claim to be perfect.
We believe that our regular review (currently quarterly) will guide us in areas
where we may be lacking and we welcome any comments that
