who we arewhat we do
Staff are trained in the design and implementation of stakeholder consultation exercises.  Recent work carried out in this field includes the following:
  • Working with a local authority to carry out stakeholder consultation with its tenants and leaseholders with respect to the planned introduction of district heating on four estates.
  • For the Government Office of London, Impetus managed a mentoring programme on waste recycling for London boroughs. This involved conducting research to identify best practice and designing and running a series of interactive events for boroughs to facilitate the sharing of this best practice.
  • Regular facilitation of events for the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Homes. These have included consultations on the proposed Community Energy Saving Programme (CESP) and a conference on Hard to Treat Homes.
  • Workshops to engage councillors at individual local authorities on the issue of climate change. Delivered as part of the EST's Practical help programme, Impetus has designed and delivered workshops at more than 30 authorities.
