who we arewhat we do
Much of the work we are involved in results in the production of good practice guidance materials.

We recently developed a comprehensive toolkit on how local authorities can use Community Planning as a tool for addressing fuel poverty (funded by Eaga Partnership Charitable Trust).

We have produced a comprehensive guide on the planning system in relation to sustainable energy, designed to assist the EST's Local Authority Support Officers (now Local Energy Support Teams).

Under the Practical help programme, we have produced briefing notes covering topics ranging from the implications on local authorities of the revised Building Regulations (Part L) to the role that local authorities can play in tackling climate change.
